Product Description

Welded Gabion Box are wire mesh containers welded with high quality steel wire, then connected by spirals, assembled with spacers/stiffeners. They can be filled on site with hard durable stone materials to form mass gravity retaining structures. Owing to their inflexibility, welded gabion box can adapt to different settlement or be used in water courses. The surface is passivated and plasticized by processes such as electro-galvanizing, hot-dip galvanizing, dip-plastic coating or Galfan(Zinc-aluminium coating).

Material: Low carbon steel wire, galvanized wire, galfan

Wire diameter: 2.2-4.0mm

Surface: Galvanized or Galfan or PVC coated and PE coated finished

The wire used to manufacture double twisted gabion wire mesh is soft annealed, mild steel wire provided with heavy zinc coating as per EN 10244/ASTM A 641 to prevent corrosion. In case of use in aggressive environments, it is further extruded with 0.5mm thick PVC Coating.
